Terminal short message service
Tsms stands for terminal messenger.... Simple as to send a text message into a mobilephone from your terminal. Thats what tsms is. Our new generation had been using more and more sms every day. Charging mobiles and sending sending.... When we need to send a message, we take our mobile , type it and send it. Have you ever thought what if an sms.. or a large number of sms can be send from the terminal? How easy it was, like listing the files in a folder using ls!

2 ) Tsms have the option of phonebook. To send a message.. its like Tony Stark saying "Jarvis, send sms to Avenger team". Yup it is easy.

Installation
Run The auto installer downloaded from the above link in terminal.
:~$ sudo chmod 755 Tsms
:~$ ./Tsms.1.1.0
Or Install it using Git
~$ git clone https://bitbucket.org/Rejah/tsms.git
~$ cd tsms/
~$ sudo sh install.sh
~$ cd ..
~$ rm -rf tsms
Or Install it using Git
~$ git clone https://bitbucket.org/Rejah/tsms.git
~$ cd tsms/
~$ sudo sh install.sh
~$ cd ..
~$ rm -rf tsms
How to use Tsms
Download the TSMS package .
Extract it.
Run the installer with sudo permissions.
or download the auto-installer from the link Provided
Configure your account in the easy-to-use GUI.
Open terminal, type tsms number/contactname "message".
USAGE
To send a message to a number just use
~$ tsms 9xxxxxxxxx 'your message'
note: use only the 10 digits of the number , no need of 0 it +91 for national sms.
To send message to a list of friends, make the contacts into a file in the given format below.
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
save this file and mention this file name in the tsms command like this
~$ tsms /path/to/contact/file.txt 'message'
eg: ~$ tsms /home/userDesktop/friends.txt 'message'
Tsms also provide the option of adding contact details into the address book. On sending a message to an unknown number, tsms will prompt yo u to add the contact into the address book. Once you add it into the book, then you can eastily send sms by just typing in the name of the contact and your message.
Example: tsms john 'Merry Christmas John'
ADDRESS BOOK OPTIONS
address book can be modified using tsms command easily.
ADD
ADD a new contact into address book by typing in
~$ tsms add 99xxxxxxxx
This will prompt you for the contact name to save.
EDIT
EDIT and DELETE needs sudo permission to work.
EDIT can be done by
~$ sudo tsms edit name
Example:
~$ sudo tsms edit john
DELETE
DELETE also follow same simple method
~$ sudo tsms del name
Example:
~$ sudo tsms del john
SEARCH
Search the address book by issuing the command
~$ tsms -s name/number
Example:
1) ~$ tsms -s john
2) ~$ tsms -s 8959
3) ~$ tsms -s .
SEND BULK SMS
Make a textfile anywhere you like.
Follow the contact format like this
number name
Example:
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
9xxxxxxxxx nameofcontact
Save this file and specify the path of the file in the tsms command. Just keep in mind one thing, done leave any blank lines in the text files.
Example:
~$ tsms /home/jarvis/contactfiles/friends.txt 'Merry Christmas dear..'
~$ tsms /home/jarvis/contactfiles/office.txt 'Meeting today at 2.00 pm in meeting room.'
To send Bulk sms into all the contacts in the addressbook. Just type
tsms contacts 'This is a message to all my friends... Tsms is awesome'
